This beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant has been modelled in 15ct Yellow Gold with a flowing foliate-style design. It features a wonderful 0.80ct Almandine Garnet and below it a lovely 0.15ct Peridot. The pendant also features eight gorgeous Pearls which graduate in size.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
A fabulous pendant which bears the maker’s mark of the prestigious Sheldon Brothers of Birmingham.
