This fabulous antique 15ct Yellow Gold Suffragette Pendant is Circa 1910. It is a wonderful foliate design adorned with a central Violet Amethyst, a green Peridot dropper and decorated with lovely Pearls.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.

The pendant is all set in Yellow Gold and complete with 15ct hallmark on the reverse. It would look lovely displayed on a Gold chain, a great talking piece.

Weighs 3.7 grams.

Measures 27mm across x 43mm down x 52mm down including bale.
